BUILDER FIRST

My career started with code. That still matters.

I came up through software engineering, building applications and solving complex technical problems firsthand.

As my career evolved, so did the problems I wanted to solve. Writing software expanded into architecting platforms, building high-performance teams, developing products, creating integrations, working directly with customers, and finding ways to turn emerging technology into real business value.

That technical foundation still shapes how I lead today. I believe you make better technology decisions when you understand how the technology actually works.

BEYOND THE TECHNOLOGY

The interesting part is what you do with it.

I’ve never been particularly interested in technology simply because it’s new.

I’m interested in what it changes.

How can it eliminate friction? Create leverage? Improve an experience? Make a business more scalable? Or create an entirely new opportunity?

That perspective has increasingly pulled me into product strategy, AI, automation, SaaS, PropTech, and entrepreneurship — areas where technology and business decisions are becoming almost impossible to separate.

ALWAYS BUILDING

There’s usually another idea in progress.

Outside of my primary work, I’m almost always experimenting with something.

I co-host the Multifamily Tech Gurus podcast, where we talk about technology and innovation in the apartment industry. I created Web Accessibility Guru to make an unnecessarily complicated technical subject more practical for developers. And I continue to explore new products, platforms, and business ideas around problems I think technology can solve differently.

I’ve found that building is usually the best way to learn.

BEYOND THE SCREEN

Technology is a big part of my life. It isn’t all of it.

I’m a husband, dad, lifelong car enthusiast, and someone who enjoys getting my hands dirty — whether that means working through a difficult software problem or working on a car.

My family and I also believe strongly in giving back, including supporting educational opportunities for students in the Philippines.

Working with Allex was a turning point for both my personal growth and my team’s performance. His ability to cut through noise, inspire action, and deliver real, lasting value is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Every session felt personal, powerful, and deeply practical.
